Slightly more relaxing sunday- cleaned out the pig stye and the chicken house and cooked our first roast for a while- Autumn must be coming.
Roast duck and orange eaten in the garden.

Tidying up the area by the well- taking out the dead olive trunks.
 The Eriobotrya/Loquat started to show some life- but it's still not looking very healthy and has a very fire damaged trunk- so we're coming around to the decision that it will probably have to go.....

The gardens around the house are looking green and lush, making a real little haven for us- but the rest of the land is struggling with the dry summer and the pine beetles- which means virtually none of the existing trees here have survived here now.

The Indoor garden luckily wasn't effected by the fire and the plants are getting huge!

The tree cutting continues and we still don't seem to have put a dent in it.
The landscape is changing slowly in front of our eyes as we and our neighbours slowly work through all the burnt trees.
We have a new log shed up and can now start stacking for the winter
